Container handling
Organization of hinterland transport:
Import from seaport by direct truck (Directtruck) or intermodal (train / rail and barge / barge).
Inland vessel (via the Rhine) or train to a container terminal and subsequently by truck to a storage location - alternatively directly by truck from the seaport to one of the more than 200 storage locations in the European storage network
Transport-related intermediate storage of the container inland (inbound container terminal e.g. Duisburg, Venlo, Antwerp, Bad Salzuflen)
Transportation Management:
Pick-up disposition, on-time delivery to consignee or warehouse, location/warehouse, service provider and empty container return to container depots.
Receiving:
Unloading of the container, storage / picking of the goods.
Outgoing goods:
Removal from storage, distribution, transport of goods by truck (CEP, general cargo, LTL/FTL, thermo, box, bulk, express, etc.)
